Skybolt maintenance
On 18 December 2006 we lifted Skybolt off its vehicle for maintenance purposes.

Skybolt Nose Cone Aerodynamics
Work on the aerodynamic design of the nose cone for the Skybolt sounding rocket has
been underway for some time. The pictures shown in the gallery are from this work.

Skybolt Fuel Tank Liners
In early 2006 Starchaser took delivery of took delivery of the fuel, oxidiser and
pressurant tank liners for the Skybolt rocket vehicle.

STARCHASER 4a
The Starchaser 4a booster is being developed for possible testing activities in 2007. It is
a derivative of the Starchaser 4 used to launch the Nova 1 capsule.

Thunderstar Capsule Aerodynamics
Work on the aerodynamics of the Thunderstar capsule during its re-entry phase has
generated the images shown in this gallery.

THUNDERSTAR
The THUNDERSTAR capsule is being developed to carry a 3-person crew on a sub-orbital
flight and return them safely to Earth. The capsule will interface with the STARCHASER 5
Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV).

Drop Test Success
In July 2003, in Arizona, Starchaser Industries successfully completed two manned parachute
drop tests, from an aircraft flying at 10,000 ft., of their NOVA 2 rocket capsule.

NOVA
The NOVA capsule / Starchaser 4 booster combination was launched from Morecambe Bay on
22 November 2001.
|

THUNDERBIRD
THUNDERBIRD is the project name for a possible combination of the THUNDERSTAR Capsule
on top of a modified STARCHASER 4 booster.
